Mentzendorff announces MD
Mentzendorff has announced Justin Liddle as managing director from today (20 November), following seven months as interim MD.
From today, Andrew Hawes will leave his position as Mentzendorff managing director and has been appointed as group Bollinger advisor for the UK market.
Hawes has been at the company for 27 years, and has also worked as a managing director at Champagne de Venoge and roles at Matthew Clark.
Prior to being interim MD, Liddle was a sales director at the firm for four years, and prior to that was the director of European wines.
He has also held roles providing sales and marketing support for international drinks brands.
In a statement, the firm said: “We would like to congratulate Justin on his new appointment as managing director.
“Having worked for Mentzendorff for sixteen years, Justin has an extensive knowledge of our business and the wider industry, coupled with a close working relationship with our portfolio of principals.
“Justin takes the reins from Andrew who led the company with immense dedication and passion for the last 20 years, for which we are extremely thankful and for all that he has contributed to the success of our brands and our partners brands in the UK.”
