Got some Gamay? Enter the db Spring Tasting 2024 now

‘Tis the season for Beaujolais Nouveau… but also for entering the drinks business Spring Tasting 2024: a competition opened to all styles and grape varieties. Sign up before 22 December for the chance of winning a medal.

He’s fun, he’s juicy, you either love him or hate him but his success is undeniable: this Thursday, “le Beaujolais Nouveau arrive”!

And this very marketed event – about 35 million bottles distributed in over 110 countries – is a great way to help customers get a foot in the door of the wider wonderful world of Beaujolais.

With Gamay as its key grape variety, the Beaujolais region benefits from a diversity of terroirs producing an incredible range of Gamay varietals. Nouveau, villages, crus, you name it – there’s a Gamay for everyone!

You know what else is for everyone? the drinks business Spring Tasting 2024.

With about 10,000 grape varieties in the world, the Global Wine Masters had to pick some key ones to focus their competitions on, but we are committed to shining a light on all the superb wines made across the planet – this is a global series of competitions, isn’t it?

That’s why the drinks business Spring Tasting is open to any style of wine and grape varieties (including that dear Gamay!).

The competition focuses on identifying the best wines across the world, in every style and price range. All entries are tasted blind by our panel of expert judges.

Results will be published in the drinks business magazine and online.
