Date set for Philip Tuck MW memorial service
A date has been set for a memorial service for Hatch Mansfield wine director Philip Tuck MW, following his death earlier this year in a cycling accident in Burgundy.
The service will be held at Southwark Cathedral in London on 15 February at 11am.
Philip was a co-founder of Hatch Mansfield and part of the team there for thirty years, handling wines from Champagne Taittinger to Louis Jadot and Errazuriz, among others. He died in a cycling accident in July in Burgundy, a region close to his heart.
He became an MW in 1999 and actively helped so many others to pass the same exams.
As Hatch Mansfield’s CEO Patrick McGrath MW has noted, “Philip was an immensely kind, loyal and considerate man with a dry sense of humour and a mischievous grin.”
The service is open to anyone who knew Philip and wishes to attend.
Please RSVP here or contact pippacarter@hatch.co.uk by 31 December.
