Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris promises ‘bigger and better’ 2024 show
The fifth Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris show will take place from 12 to 14 February next year, promising an increased number of wine and spirits exhibitors from across the world.
The show, taking place at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, will have as strong a French presence as usual, but a 72% increase in the number of international exhibitors and 28% more floor space to welcome some 3,900 exhibitors.
Vinexposium CEO Rodolphe Lameyse said: “February 12-13-14 promise to be action-packed with even more regions, countries, conversations, inspiration and business relations to get rolling and consolidate.”
Italy will have its own dedicated hall and Spain is now the exhibition’s third largest exhibitor country, just ahead of Portugal.Germany, Slovenia, Lebanon and South Africa will be doubling their exhibition area. Beyond Europe, New Zealand will be present for the first time, and from the US, Virginia will also make its debut.
“2024 will see the advent of new categories in the Be Spirits area with the arrival of beers and ciders. Also, more alcohol-free and low-alcohol alternatives (no/low) will be listed. The range extension comes in response to broader demand from consumers,” Lameyse added.
The Be Spirits area will feature everything from Armagnac to vodka, with producers from as far afield as the US and Japan in attendance. The Craft Pavilion, a space designed to promote discovery within the Be Spirits area, will showcase some key drinks trends and will be divided into three zones: spirits, beer and cider, and no/low-alcohol.
The 40 metre long Infinite Bar will feature mixologists from 20 bars. Three bartenders from London, Barcelona and Madrid will be invited to attend as guest stars at the bar.
