Want to match your nails to your can of White Claw? Here’s how
Hard seltzer brand White Claw has launched a nail polish set in collaboration with Nails Inc, allowing customers to match their nails to their drink.
The nail varnishes come in four colours — Very Blackberry, Black Cherry Bliss, Mango Tango and Natural Lime Love — all designed to pair with White Claw flavours.
The nail set features all four polishes and a tool designed to prevent your nails from chipping when you open a can.
White Claw may be the latest brand to tap into beauty products, but it is by no means the first. Last year, US beer brand Coors Light launched a thermochromic nail polish that changes colour when consumers are holding a cold beer.
The nail polish, which was created in partnership with Le Chat Nails, echoes the technology used in Coors Light beer cans which the mountains on its logo to turn from grey to blue when the beer is chilled.
The nail varnish launched ahead of the festive season in 2022. Coors Light associate marketing manager Ashley Kozanda said at the time that the launch was an “example of not following the same old playbook that beer brands tend to use”.
White Claw may similarly be tapping into beauty products to engage a new demographic of consumers.
The brand has become synonymous with the hard seltzer category since its launch in 2016.
The company owns the top five SKUs in the beverage alcohol seltzer category and so far this year has sold 16 million cases, more than a million more than 350 other brands combined. Read more about how White Claw came to dominate hard seltzer here.
White Claw fans can purchase the the set of four nail varnishes for US$23 on Amazon.
