Enotria reveals its new CEO as Christensen moves on
Wine and spirit distributor Enotria&Coe has appointed a new CEO to head up the business, as Troy Christensen steps back after relocating to the US.
Julian Momen, who was appointed COO in August, will take over the chief exec role. Prior to joining Enotria, he was UK CEO of brewing giant Carlsberg between 2016-2018, having joined the company as chief financial officer in the UK in 2012.
While there, he helped to shift Carlsberg’s marketing strategy to focus more on premium brands.
Before his time with Carlsberg, Momen spent more than half of his 30-year career working at Diageo, with time at General Mills and RHM Adelie.
Christensen, who relocated back to the US for family reasons in August, took up the CEO position at Enotria in 2014 and has been widely credited with implementing welcome changes to the company, including its acquisition and integration of Coe Vintners. He had previously been a chief executive at Accolade Wines and, before that, president at Constellation Europe.
Momen said he was delighted to be stepping into the role and to be leading a “wonderful group of people in a business founded on great values”.
He vowed to provide renewed energy and “a pathway for success” for the company and the partners it works with.
