Cameron Diaz adds Pinot Noir to her Avaline wine brand

Avaline, co-founded by Cameron Diaz and Katherine Power, has launched its first Pinot Noir, a light-bodied French wine offering notes of fresh-picked cherries and wild raspberries.

Avaline, which is an organic, transparent and vegan-friendly wine brand, has added the varietal due to it being “a favourite of Cameron’s and highly requested by Avaline fans”.

Speaking about the launch, a spokesperson for Avaline told db that “like all of Avaline’s wines, Pinot Noir is made to the Avaline standard: 100% organic grapes, zero grams of sugar per glass and no unwanted additives like concentrates, colours and sugars. Nutrition facts and ingredients are on the back of every bottle, answering consumers’ demands for more transparency in their wine.”

According to the brand owner, within three years, Avaline has grown to be the no.2 organic wine brand in retail, and fastest growing in that segment and has expanded to over 20,000 points of distribution across the US and shipping directly to consumers in 42 states plus Washington DC.

Avaline Pinot Noir will be available exclusively via Avaline’s website retailing at US$26 per bottle.
