Rhône tasting celebrates wide range of wines from region

Inter Rhône will be holding one of the most extensive tastings of white wines from the region in London this July.

Rhône Valley 2022 harvest: a slow return to normality?

The tasting will focus on the many different white wines on offer from the region including appellations such as Condrieu, Hermitage, Cairanne and Luberon.

There will be more than 20 appellations in total represented at the tasting, ranging from fresh and lively, to fruity and round or rich and complex, these wines have something for every palate, it said.

The tasting will include both still and sparkling as well as sweet white wines from the Rhône Valley giving visitors the full spectrum of white wines on offer from the region.

Following the tasting of over 100 wines, guests will also be invited to join the Rhône White after-party on the roof terrace, where there will be a series of canapés expertly matched with a series of Rhône white wines along with a DJ set and more.

Julie Coutton, PR manager at Inter Rhône, said: “In the Rhône Valley we are incredibly proud of our white wines and wanted to really put a spotlight on everything they have to offer the UK market. Our July tasting will be the perfect opportunity to discover the diversity of white wines in this up-and-coming wine category.

We are continuing to see our white wines grow in popularity on the UK market which we believe is down to their diverse taste profiles. These are aromatic wines, full of flavour and bursting with personality. They offer great value and are food-friendly white wines and have just as much to offer as our red wines.
