London Packaging Week promises ‘best speaker line-up to date’
Easyfairs, the organiser of London Packaging Week, has revealed the leading industry figures who will be speaking at ExCel London on 21 and 22 September.
Around 5,000 attendees are expected to flock to the centre over the two days in September, to discover the latest design and packaging innovations across a number of sectors, including food and drink.
The first day (Thursday 21 September) promises talks from several high profile entrepreneurs who will be sharing there expertise in the field.
Midday will see entrepreneurs (and successful Dragons’ Den contestants) Marisa Poster and Teddie Levenfiche take to the Food Stage to discuss their match green tea energy drink in a talk titled ‘Game, Set and Matcha!’
At 12.30pm, Fable & Mane co-founder and CEO Akash Mehta will be on the Beauty Stage explaining the importance of ‘mindful business’. From 1pm to 1.30pm, Mulberry founder Roger Saul will be on the show’s Luxury Stage with his talk: ‘From one bag to another – a British icons journey from luxury handbags to a luxury farm’.
From 3pm, the Luxury Stage will also host The Macallan’s head of product innovations, Justin Hutton-Penman, who will give his perspective on the role of creativity in the whisky industry, and how to capture the spirit behind the ultra-premium spirits brand.
Speakers on the second day (Friday 22 September) include wellbeing expert Liz Earle MBE (Drinks & Beauty stage, 1pm) and Candy Kittens founders Jamie Laing and Ed Williams (Food Stage, 1.15pm).
There will also be a panel debate among representatives of Nestle, WRAP and Plastic Bank hosted by PHD Marketing managing director Jo Stephenson.
