Ferrari Trento auctions off F1 podium bottles for charity

Ferrari Trento, the Official Sparkling Wine of Formula 1, has put 18 bottles up for auction to raise money for Race Against Dementia.

A signed Podium Jeroboam example from a race last year at Silverstone.

The famed Trentodoc producer will be auctioning off Blanc de Blancs bottles signed by the top three drivers from each of the following upcoming races: Melbourne, Baku, Miami, Imola, Monaco, Barcelona, Montréal, Spielberg, Silverstone, Budapest, Spa, Zandvoort, Monza, Singapore, Suzuka, Austin, Mexico City and São Paulo.

Selling through official Formula 1 licensee F1 Authentics, the money raised from the auction will be going towards Race Against Dementia, a charity set up by three-time F1 World Champion Sir Jackie Stewart after his wife, Helen McGregor Stewart, was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia.

Ferrari Trento president and CEO Matteo Lunelli commented: “We are proud to support the important work of Race Against Dementia in its quest for speed and innovation in discovering new treatments. We are also glad that passionate fans of Formula 1 and Ferrari Trento will be able to enjoy these unique bottles as a keepsake of the magnificent races happening this year.”

Stewart said: “Race Against Dementia is honoured to be the charity of choice for these wonderful auctions. Race Against Dementia’s mission is to find a cure or way to prevent dementia. Unless something is done, one in three people born today will die with dementia. This crisis cannot continue. Thank you to Ferrari Trento and F1 Authentics for their support in accelerating this vital research.”

Formula 1 president and CEO Stefano Domenicali toasted the auction as “three members of the Formula 1 family” coming together, and added: “We are passionate about finding a cure for a disease that is taking so many lives around the world, and are pleased to see that Ferrari Trento and F1 Authentics also share that drive.”

All 18 bottles are available to bid on now at this link, with the auction for each bottle closing shortly after its respective race.
