Ferrari Trento launches trio of F1-inspired bottles

Trentodoc producer Ferrari Trento has launched three new bottles inspired by the iconic race circuits of Imola, Zandvoort and Las Vegas.

Last year, Ferrari Trento’s partnership with Formula 1, initially due to end this year, was extended until 2025. Now, the Lunelli Group premium sparkling wine brand is marking the F1 season with three wines marking three key races this year.

It is also fitting, as this year marks the 70th anniversary of the Imola circuit in Emilia Romagna. As well as featuring the racecourse’s name, the label also reproduces the circuit’s distinctive shape. The same approach has also been taken with the Las Vegas and Zandvoort label designs. Notably, Las Vegas has a new circuit for 2023 that takes in the city’s sights.

The Trentodoc housed inside the bottles is Ferrari Trento’s Blanc de Blancs cuvées, made from 100% Chardonnay (sustainably grown and handpicked on the mountain slopes of Trentino).

The wine was then matured on the lees for 24 months. The flavour profile is described in a press release from Ferrari Trento as “ripe fruity notes, hints of crusty bread and hazelnuts…with a finish that combines mineral sensations and citrusy nuances”.

Matteo Lunelli, Ferrari Trento CEO and president, said: “Ferrari Trento has been the Official Toast of Formula 1® for two years now, and following these successful years, we very much look forward to the third season. 2023 is set to be a big one, and we are glad to celebrate it presenting the Imola, Zandvoort and Las Vegas F1 dedicated editions of our Trentodoc sparkling wine.”
