Amathus Drinks launches private client service
UK specialist drinks importer, distributor and retailer Amathus Drinks has launched a new private client service as it celebrates its 45th anniversary.
The specialist is now offering both new and existing customers a bespoke wine and spirits advisory service, via its private client team. Customers need to sign up for the service, which will tailor advice to their interests and taste, offering pre-shipment orders, priority access to limited allocations of rare wines and spirits, a dedicated account manager and early information about Amathus Drinks’ upcoming campaigns. It will cover drinks orders for parties and events, cellar planning and early information about its Bordeaux En Primeur 2022 Campaign.
“The launch of the new Private Client Service marks a new, exciting step in the brand’s growth and commitment to its customers,” the company said in a statement.
The family-owned company was founded in 1978 as a specialist distributor but moved into retail in 2011, when it snapped up two former Oddbins sites in London to establish its first bricks and mortar stores. This has since grown to nine, including two outside London, in Bath and Brighton, in addition to supplying Michelin-starred restaurants, five-star hotels, select city bars and clubs and country gastropubs, as well as independent retail outlets.
Its range comprises more than 4,000 products, from special-edition whiskies to rare and fine wines.
