Hooters girl reveals the astonishing amount she makes in tips per week

Hooters is perhaps best known for its infamous uniform requirements for female employees, though a recent trend has shown just how much so-called ‘Hooters girls’ stand to make in tips during their shifts. One Hooters waitress has now revealed the astonishing she makes in tips per week by working at the restaurant chain.

Reagan (@reaganfordd on TikTok) has revealed the eye-watering amount of money she makes in tips during her shifts at Hooters, and it has prompted many of her followers to consider following suit and applying for a job.

Speaking to the camera, Reagan counted out her tips from a Monday-Thursday working week at the fast food restaurant.

“I had some really good people and got some really good tips tonight, so $488 for a Monday,” she began.

“For a Tuesday morning bar shift, I made $322,” she continued.

“For a Wednesday morning bar shift, I made $355 this morning,” she added, before a final Thursday evening shift added another $378 to her tip total.

The grand total came to a whopping $1,543, though Reagan was at pains to note that her shifts at Hooters are not always so lucrative.

“I do want to preface that not every week looks like that as a server,” she said.

And commenters were clearly blown away by the amount of money Reagan had earned.

“[That’s] it i’m applying [sic]” one TikTok user wrote, while another added, “is this my sign to work at Hooters”.

“Yess get that bag,” a third commenter wrote.

Hooters has not been immune to controversy of late. In 2021, the restaurant chain rowed back on new uniform requirements after a public backlash from some of its employees, while there has been considerable opposition to new Hooters openings in the United Kingdom, most recently a Manchester location.
