DO Toro returns to the UK for tasting
DO Toro is returning to the UK for its first ever generic tasting, where 20 wineries will be showcasing their very best wines to demonstrate how the DO is developing and shaking things up.
The tasting follows on from the success of the DO Toro showcase tasting in Madrid last autumn.
Telling their stories in their own words, 20 winemakers and winery owners will give an up-to date insight into what is happening in Toro; a return to original and traditional winemaking techniques mixed with insights on how the use of oak is changing in the region.
“We are delighted to be putting on this tasting in London on 7 March, where will be showing over 80 wines from 21 wineries,” said Rubén Gil, manager at DO Toro. “We have a great line up which will showcase the diversity and unique nature of Toro wines. Tinta del Toro is a versatile varietal with many nuances and styles; ranging from young vibrant to aged reds.”
