elit vodka wins ‘Best Vodka of the Year’ at Beverage Tasting Institute Awards

Stoli Group-owned ultra-premium spirit elit vodka has been awarded the title of Best Vodka of the Year at the Beverage Tasting Institute Awards (BTI).

This marks the eleventh time that elit Vodka has been awarded a ‘platinum’ win, an unparalleled achievement among rival vodka brands, Stoli Group said.

This year’s award of Best Vodka of the Year, along with additional platinum wins in 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2014, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022, means elit Vodka is well placed as one of the highest-rated vodkas in the world.

“It is an honour to be recognised for our outstanding vodka portfolio. It is a reflection on the quality of our product, our partners around the globe that help us deliver on our commitment to excellence and our people that continue to go above and beyond,” commented Damian McKinney, Global CEO, Stoli Group. “Despite the chaos that 2022 brought in terms of war, supply disruption, recovery from COVID and demand for rapid innovation to combat the climate crisis, the Stoli family stood up for the values for which we are known, trust and commitment to integrity.

“This is an esteemed win for Stoli Group, setting a new benchmark for ultra-premium spirits globally,” McKinney added. “With hand-made precision, and cutting-edge technology, we are evolving the vodka category.”

Alongside elit Vodka’s platinum win, Stoli Gold also took home a platinum award win. In the Beverage Tasting Institute Awards’ gold category, Stoli secured wins for Stoli Vodka, Stoli Cucumber, Stoli Blueberry, and Stoli Orange. Meanwhile, Stoli Raspberry was awarded a silver.

The BTI tasting process is rigorous and thorough, using industry experts on its tasting panel. The panel evaluates according to a methodology designed by the BTI in conjunction with Cornell University and custom-made software.
