Currently, there are eight Jeroboams shops, situated in west and north London. Jeroboams CEO Matt Tipping said: “We have made no secret of the fact that we have wanted to grow our portfolio of shops, and take Jeroboams to areas where we would like to have a physical presence. With the continuation of trends including flexible and home-based working, we hope that many of our regular online and private customers in Wimbledon will welcome the arrival of a local Jeroboams shop. We are very excited to be moving into ‘the village’ at a time when our business continues to go from strength to strength.”
Tipping continued: “We feel we can bring something unique to the people of Wimbledon, adding to the exciting dynamic the village has to offer. As with each of our ventures, we are committed to maintaining the values of the individual shops and their localities.”
As well as Jeroboams’ drinks portfolio, local business will be represented on the shelves of the new site, with products from independent producers such as Wimbledon Brewery and Yotes Court wines. There will also be a premium food offering from brands such as Charbonnel et Walker, Prestat and Ballancourt.
“We have been searching for the right location for some time and would only consider the investment if we felt that all the factors were right. Our passionate and knowledgeable team look forward to being welcomed into the Wimbledon Village community,” concluded Tipping.
