Capping ‘super group’ created under new name

A new group name has been announced following the merging of key market players Sparflex, Enoplastic, PE.DI and Supercap.

Following the coming together of Sparflex and Enoplastic in 2020, and now with additional companies joining the fold, a new group has been created by name of CREALIS.

The new name nods to the words ‘Create’ and ‘Listen’, reinforcing the group’s pledge to heed its clients’ specific requirements when it comes to making foils, capsules, wire hoods, corks, flanged corks, and much more.

Comprised of eight expert and locally well-known brands, each entity brings to the group serious clout in their respective markets, and a shared drive to operate as sustainably as possible. The eight companies that will unify to form CREALS are: Enoplastic; Sparflex; Le Muselet Valentin; Rivercap; Maverick Enterprise Inc; Corchomex; PE.DI and Supercap.

“We believe in a world where every detail counts, which is why we are convinced that our new identity and logo will build a unique impression in the capping and overcapping sector – an impression that perfectly illustrates the mission we have set ourselves: to be close to our clients and open to the future,” said Michele Moglia.

The new identity will, says Moglia, “increase our capacity for innovation” and represent €300 million in turnover, with 15 production sites across six countries. The combined CREALIS workforce will amount to 2,000 employees. Together they will serve the still and sparkling wine markets as well as spirits, non-alcoholic beverages, oils, vinegars and fragrances.
