The St. Regis Hong Kong hotel launches a Macallan afternoon tea

A Macallan whisky-themed afternoon tea experience is coming to The Drawing Room at The St. Regis Hong Kong.

From 1 November to 11 December, The St. Regis Hong Kong hotel will collaborate with The Macallan through a new signature afternoon tea experience.

Inspired by The Macallan Double Cask 12 Years Old whisky, the hotel will present an elevated menu of curated culinary specials and cocktails. The Macallan Double Cask 12 Years Old offers an exquisite balance between sherry-seasoned European & American oak casks.

Described as “a harmonious single malt with a warm character”, the whisky is infused into various items on the afternoon tea menu, including: Green asparagus skewer with The Macallan Double Cask 12 Years Old sour mayonnaise, Foie gras terrine with The Macallan Double Cask 12 Years Old marinated foie gras, ginger bread and pickled raspberries, and Whisky chocolate cake with The Macallan Double Cask 12 Years Old dark chocolate ganache, rich chocolate sponge and chocolate crumble.

The afternoon tea will be accompanied with one complimentary cocktail curated with the hero whisky to complete the journey.

The Macallan-inspired afternoon tea is available between 2:30pm – 5:30pm on weekdays, and 2:00pm – 5:30pm on weekends and public holidays, priced at HKD478 + 10% per person including coffee and tea.
