Taste ‘the ultimate Malbec’ in London
Members of the UK wine trade are invited to an event in London on Monday 17 October at 10.30am to taste ‘the ultimate Malbec’, including vintages dating as far back as 2006.
The event, hosted by db in partnership with Argentina’s Doña Paula, is being held to mark the 20th vintage of Doña Paula’s icon wine, Selección de Bodega, and gives attendees the chance to sample a benchmark Malbec in the company of South America’s star winemaker, Martin Kaiser.
Kaiser, who heads up the winemaking at Doña Paula, will guide registered wine trade professionals through a one-off tasting of fine Argentine Malbec in its youthful and mature states as he shows how research and experimentation using different vineyard plots and modern technology have resulted in the ultimate expression of Malbec.
