Vin De France wine continues to increase sales globally

UK sales at 12.5 million bottles (1st semester 2022)

Vin De France (VDF) exports to the UK are doing well, despite the smaller than normal harvest in France in 2021 and the implications of Brexit.

Global exports increased during the first semester of 2022, by +6% in volume and +21% in value (compared to the first semester 2021).

VDF exports to the UK – for VDF varietal wines and blends – amounted to 93,406 HL (equivalent to 12.5 million 75cl bottles) at a value of €24,842K, from January to June 2022.

The UK remains the second largest export market in volume for VDF wines, after Germany, and the third in value, after Germany and the USA.

VDF wines will be featured on the Sorted Food Channel on 2 October.
