Conor McGregor is hiring a ‘professional partier’ for Irish whiskey brand Proper No. Twelve

Irish whiskey producer Proper No. Twelve, founded by MMA fighter Conor McGregor, has announced a national search for a ‘Professional Partier’, advising fans to “quit your day job” and join the team.

Conor McGregor is actively seeking candidates to fill this new position with the whiskey brand, introducing Proper No. Twelve Irish whiskey to drinkers across the US.

New hires will have the chance to visit Ireland, see where and how the whiskey is made, and visit Conor McGregor’s Black Forge Inn.

“I’m looking for someone to roll up their sleeves and work harder than ever,” said McGregor, Proper No. Twelve’s founder. “I started from nothing and am now the CEO of the fastest-growing Irish whiskey brand in America. Think you have what it takes to work for Proper No. Twelve? Apply for a proper job as a Professional Partier and come work for me.”

McGregor is on the hunt for a “heavy hitter and risk-taker” who is “ready to unlock their full potential”, according to a press release put out by the brand, which urges whiskey fans to “quit your day job”.

The full-time position will require the new hire to introduce Proper No. Twelve to whiskey fans in the US, hosting fight night viewing parties and bar events, creating new cocktails, and trialling running Proper No. Twelve’s social channels.

Candidates must be 21 and over, and authorised to work in the US. Qualified candidates should have proficiency in sales and marketing, along with strong communication and management skills, the brand has specified.

Applications will be open from September 20, 2022 through October 20, 2022. Applicants are being encouraged to create a video with the hashtag #GETAPROPERJOB, and the winner will be decided via a social media vote.
