The most popular cocktails in every US state have been revealed by a new study – and a Tequila-based expressions are very well represented.

Interest in cocktails naturally peaks over the summer months as we make the most of the sunshine and longer days.

But with people branching out and learning more about different cocktails by making them at home during lockdown, what are the most popular cocktails in every US state in 2022?

Well, it probably won’t come as a surprise to many that the Margarita reigns supreme in 22 states, with the Tequila-based classic by far the best represented, according to research from marketing agency Top Marketing.

The agency also revealed that happy hours appear to be making a comeback, with a 54% rise in happy hour visits compared with the start of the pandemic.
