You can get a 99p flake ‘ice cream’ lager from Camden Town Brewery today

For one day only, Camden Town Brewery is offering its new Ice Cream Vanilla Lager for just 99p, but you’ll have to be quick if you want to make the most of it.

Yes, to mark the release of its new Ice Cream lager, AB InBev-owned Camden Town Brewery is offering the esoteric brew for just 99p today (14 July).

With reports in The Sun suggesting that a 99p flake ice cream is being sold for as much as £5 in the UK as inflation bites the British public where it hurts (the wallet), Camden Town Brewery has decided to step in.

With 500 available online and 500 at the Beer Hall on Wilkin Street Mews, Camden, you’ll have to pounce if you want to capitalise on the bargain.

Of course, the actual beer doesn’t contain actual ice cream, rather vanilla essence that ads creamy notes to the refreshing brew.

With pint prices soaring across the UK amid a myriad of conspiring factors, drinkers will doubtless be glad to enjoy a cheaper pint in the current heatwave.

If you’re looking for something altogether more decadent, though, then you can find out where the most expensive beer in the UK is being sold here.
