It’s certainly an inventive way of trying to cool off, or as the man in question put it, “enjoy” the hot weather, but the arresting site of a man perched in a wheelie bin full of water sipping a cocktail has left the internet enraptured.

The viral clip was uploaded to video-sharing site TikTok, and whether it was the man’s cooling off tactics or the blazing row that ensued, the internet simply cannot get enough of the footage.

Yes, the scorching temperatures seen earlier this week have lead us all to behave a little unconventionally in our desperation to cool down. But one TikTok user was so baffled by a man’s method for “enjoying” the sun that he uploaded video footage of what quickly turned into a blazing row.

Yes, escalating to the coruscating heat of full blown fisticuffs, the man in question demands, “What? I’m not allowed to have a cocktail in my own bin??” Before asking the person videoing if he wants a fight.

Though it’s only in the last five seconds of the video that things truly reach their climax.

And in fact, commenters were split over the footage.

Many felt the man should have been left alone, with one TikTok user writing, “Why interrupt him when he’s at peace.”

“Leave him alone he is living his best life.” Another commenter added.

“He’s missed a trick there… What he should have done is prop the lid up so it makes a table for his cocktail. Too late now.” A third chimed in.
