10 of the best Amazon Prime Day drinks deals

This year’s Amazon Prime Day is actually over two days (12 to 13 July), and the online retailer has got plenty of discounts to keep your drinks cabinet stocked this summer.

From seltzers to spirits and lager to rosé, these are some discounted tipples to top your glass up with at your next BBQ, dinner party or soirée.

Veuve Clicquot Rosé

Was £51, now £44

Popular on both sides of the Atlantic, Veuve Clicquot’s commitment to have “only one quality, the finest” means that this is an offer too good to refuse.

Vergelegen, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot blend

Was £12.75, now £10

One of the oldest wine estates in South Africa, it is widely held to be one of the best vineyards to visit in the southern hemisphere. This discount is considerably cheaper than a plane ticket though.

Studio by Miraval

Was £14.95, now £12

Miraval has been at the centre of the multimillion divorce settlement spat between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Thankfully, you can enjoy the wine without the need to spend all of your money on lawyers.

Heineken Premium Lager, 12x330ml

Was £10, now £8

Though Amazon might be better known for selling Jeremy Clarkson’s Hawkstone lager, it has plenty of other lagers on offer too.

White Claw Hard Seltzer Variety Pack, 16x330ml

Was £35, now £26

Hard seltzer is so in right now. Whether you like it because it’s (relatively) low in calories, nicely flavoured or just easy to drink, this discount gives you another excuse to pick up a pack of one of the hottest booze crazes.

Captain Morgan Spiced Gold Rum

Was £17, now £13

Why is the rum always gone? Probably because you haven’t stocked up, matey. Though not in the sale, Cap’n Morgan recently teamed up with coconut water giant Vita Coco on a new RTD canned cocktail.

Grey Goose Vodka

Was £39, now £32

A golden goose for LVMH chairman (and world’s third richest man) Bernard Arnault – the French-made vodka also has the benefit of slipping through boycotts of the Russian stuff.

Southern Comfort Original Liqueur

Was £28, now £20

Fantastic in a long drink with iced tea and lemon, or just on the rocks, this is a drink that makes you want to be listening to some jazz on a balmy New Orleans evening, or failing that, just use Spotify.

Aperol Ricetta Originale

Was £16, now £13

The lurid orange sign that summer is truly here. Obviously great in its eponymous spritz, but Aperol is also useful for adding bitterness to a number of cocktails – just make sure that the colours don’t clash.

Tanqueray London Dry Gin

Was £26, now £20

If it’s good enough for Stanley Tucci, it’s good enough for your Friday evening Martini.
