Santa Rita toasts Arsenal FC partnership with 120 on-pitch experience

Santa Rita hosted an unforgettable day at Emirates Stadium in celebration of its ongoing partnership with Arsenal Football Club, with club legends Ray Parlour and Gilberto Silva in attendance.

It’s not everyday you’re able fulfil a dream, but at Santa Rita’s 120 Arsenal FC experience, this writer checked off what felt like an unattainable bucket list item.

On 25 May, Santa Rita gathered together members of the press and buyers for a heady five-a-side clash that took place on the pitch at Emirates Stadium under the watchful guidance of club legends Ray Parlour and Gilberto Silva.

After a tour of the stadium, the players assembled in the club’s dressing rooms and geared up for the match. In a titanic clash of press versus buyers, the game finished 2-2, before going to penalties. The less said about the shootout, the better.

Later, participants were treated to an all-star meal at the Diamond Club featuring a menu designed by Chef Director Raymond Blanc. Ray Parlour held court with many fascinating and hilarious anecdotes, and all too soon it was time to say goodbye to a surreal, wonderful event.

Last year, Santa Rita marked five years in partnership with Arsenal FC as its official wine sponsor in a campaign that featured 120 influencers in key markets as the UK and Ireland, China, USA, Canada, Chile and Brazil.

The campaign was launched with a special video featuring Arsenal FC manager, Mikel Arteta.

Francisca Muñiz, Santa Rita CMO, said at the time, “The partnership between 120 and Arsenal has represented a significant support for extending the reach of Santa Rita and positioning Chilean wine in strategic markets where Arsenal also has a presence. Amplifying 120’s message of enjoying the simple things in life and sharing together has become even more relevant in the current global situation, and we are delighted to celebrate these five years together.”

Earlier this year, Santa Rita Estates predicted record production from the areas of Molina, Pumanque, and Cauquenes in its mid-harvest report. You can catch up on all the details here.
