San Miguel 0,0 becomes available on draught at Lord’s Cricket Ground
San Miguel 0,0 is due to become widely available on draught at Lord’s Cricket Ground in time for the summer.
From Sunday 19 June, San Miguel 0,0 will be available for guests attending the Vitality Blast Middlesex v Kent match and will, from that point, be able to cater for beer-loving cricket fans who are looking for a refreshing beer options without the alcohol content.
San Miguel 0,0 launches in line with the 20th season of T20 cricket and will serve consumers from 30 taps at Lord’s, Carlsberg Marston’s revealed, in what marks the company’s biggest draught distribution of San Miguel 0,0 in the UK to date.
Carlsberg Marston’s Brewing Company director of marketing, world beer, Dharmesh Rana, said: “2022 is a huge year for San Miguel 0,0 as the no-and low-alcohol continues to rise in popularity. Lord’s is a hugely exciting destination to be pouring 0,0 and creates the opportunity to offer sports fans great-tasting alcohol-free beers for occasions when alcohol isn’t preferred.”
Andy Muggleton, assistant secretary (commercial) at Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), added: “We are delighted to extend our partnership with Carlsberg Marston’s by serving San Miguel’s 0,0 at Lord’s. The addition of a draught non-alcoholic lager to our bars will increase the top-class matchday experience that everyone, including those who prefer not to drink alcohol, can enjoy at the Ground.”
According to Nielsen data, one in three consumers now actively-moderating their alcohol consumption and sales of low and no-alcohol drinks have jumped 30% since March 2022.
