5 frozen cocktails to enjoy during the heatwave

We hear it’s heatwave weather! To help keep you cool, db has identified five frozen cocktails to stock up on to keep you happy and refreshed.

Cooloo Frozen Cocktail Pops

Perfect for freezing and enjoying on the go, on the beach or with a picnic when the sun is shining. Simple and single serve alcoholic ice lollies in a variety of cocktail flavours including Cosmo, Gin and Tonic, Mai Tai, Paloma and Pina Colada.

Häagen-Dazs cocktail-flavoured ice cream

Häagen-Dazs has released a range of alcohol-infused cocktail-flavoured mini ice creams, ideal for the warm weather. The ice creams come in two flavours, Piña Colada and Lime Mojito Sorbet. The Lime Mojito Sorbet is infused with a touch of rum and a generous dose of mint coulis, while the Piña Colada Ice Cream features coconut and pineapple ice cream with a hint of pineapple rum sauce. The Mojito option is also vegan-friendly. The Piña Colada is 0.80% ABV, while Lime Mojito is 0.97% ABV.

Priced at approximately £5 per pack, with each pack containing two 95ml cups of both flavours.

Asterley Bros Summer Fruit Collins

20 pre-mixed cocktails in a freezable pouch each weighing in at aroun 16% ABV, you can make these as chilled as you like and simply serve from the pouch into glasses.
In essence, it’s a seasonal twist on a classic Tom Collins cocktail: Bright, fresh and delicious and perfect for outdoor drinking. The cocktail pouch is a muddle of Reverend Hubert’s Garden Gin Liqueur, Estate Vermouth, Earl Grey, London Dry Gin and Citrus.
Place in freezer 1 hour before serving. Pour 50ml over ice and top with 75ml soda or tonic to make it into a longer drink. Garnish with a slice of orange.

Cocktail Canaries Pink Grapefruit Margarita

The Cocktail Canaries have taken the classic margarita and turned it up a notch with pink grapefruit to offer the perfect unison of flavours; pink grapefruit, orange liqueur, and Tequila.
Each serve comes in a 50cl postbox pouch and can be frozen down if you like or added to crushed ice and a frozen glass too. The eco-pouches cannot be recycled at home, but you can post it back to Cocktail Canaries for free with the label provided on the pouch and they will collect them all and ensure they are recycled-Delivery is via Royal Mail or Parcelforce.

Each cocktail pouch is 15.7% ABV and, once opened, should stay refrigerated and consumed within four weeks.
