iDealwine branches into en primeur sales

French online wine auctioneer iDealwine has launched an en primeur service for its customers which it calls “the natural conclusion” of its decade as an online retailer.

CEO Cyrille Jomand  explains that it demonstrates the company’s “stronger than ever relationships in Bordeaux” and has been something that its loyal customer base have been keen to see for a number of years.

“We’ve had allocations at many prestigious properties since 2015, so we are delighted to launch such a complementary service,” he said.

The new offer will include a number of different formats, covering classic bottles to imperials, with wines being sold in cases of 6 or 12 bottles, and will include free delivery for purchases over €1,500 for selected destinations, complimentary wine storage and a loyalty scheme offering  3-5% credit on primeur purchases.

Currently, the website is available only in French, but an English language version will be launched next year.
