Courvoisier Cognac collaborates with fashion designer Daniel w. Fletcher

Beam Suntory’s Courvoisier brand has collaborated with designer Daniel w. Fletcher to launch limited-edition bottles of its VSOP Cognac alongside a new ready-to-wear clothing collection.

As part of the collaboration, 200 individually-numbered hand-painted bottles will be available exclusively at Harrods with the release upholding the connection between art, joy and living well.

In addition to the new bottle, Fletcher has also created a line of apparel, featuring a vibrant, painted expression of the denim jacket, jeans, a silk shirt, sweatshirt, and t-shirt, with each piece featuring the iconic painted brushstroke designs.

The distinctive painterly motifs splashed across both the apparel and VSOP bottles are allegedly Fletcher’s personal artistic take on inhabiting every moment with a sense of “joie de vivre”.

Nick Ganich, head of brands for the Beam Suntory portfolio at Edrington UK said: “Although Courvoisier is a Cognac house proudly steeped in heritage, we are looking forward to exploring new territories through a modern lens of art and culture throughout 2022 and beyond. Courvoisier and Daniel’s audiences have strong synergy with each other as customers who place quality and luxury in high regard, a key component in the design process of this limited run of products”.

Fletcher explained: “Painting brings me so much happiness, and I wanted to communicate this feeling within my limited-edition bottle and apparel collection through my playful brushstroke design, to bring joy to others, too”.

Ganich added: “Selecting an exclusive sales partner was of high importance for this very special release, and the decision to partner with Harrods came as a result of the strong alignment of luxury and heritage credentials between both brands”.

The limited edition run of Courvoisier x Daniel w. Fletcher VSOP bottles, the jacket, shirt and jeans set will be available to purchase both in-store and online at Harrods, while the sweatshirt and t-shirt will only be available to buy via the Daniel w. Fletcher website.
