Alcohol-free sparkling wine Noughty relaunches in Hong Kong
Drinks99, a premium importer of luxury spirits and liqueurs in Hong Kong, has announced the relaunch of its booze-free sparkling wine brand Noughty, together with the debut of a sparkling rosé.
B Corp-certified company Noughty claims to have the first organic, vegan and alcohol-free sparkling Chardonnay in the market. The brand is all about changing perceptions of alcohol-free options and bringing quality alcohol-free products to drinkers.
The first sparkling Chardonnay from the brand is made with 100% organic Chardonnay grapes from southern Spain. According to Noughty, the dealcoholisation process uses a historically patented method and avoids adding any unnecessary sugar or artificial aromas to the bottle. With almost half the sugar content of traditional alcohol-free sparkling wines, Noughty Sparkling Chardonnay contains 2.9g per 100ml glass, which equates to approximately 14kcal per 100ml.
Making its first appearance in Hong Kong, Noughty’s Sparkling Rosé has also been dealcoholised to retain a rich flavour with 5.9g of sugar and 18 calories per 100ml.
Both Noughty Sparkling Chardonnay and Sparkling Rosé are distributed by Drinks99 in Hong Kong, priced at RRP HK$198 (750ml).
