Ukrainian vodka Dima’s auctions limited-edition hand-painted bottles
Dima’s Vodka has partnered with Ukrainian artist Kateryna Kyslitsksa to create four hand-painted bottles in a bid to help people in Ukraine.
Out of the four unique bottle designs created, two of the remaining painted bottles will be available at auction over the coming weeks, with all proceeds going to Ukrainian relief charities.
Since the beginning of the conflict, Dima’s has channelled its efforts into raising money and awareness for the humanitarian needs of the people suffering in Ukraine – with £5 of every £35 bottle sold going to charity.
The designs sported on the bottles include the kalyna berry which, in Ukraine, is a symbol of peace, kindness, family and wellbeing; The daffodil – symbolising new beginnings and hope as well as resilience and good luck; Cornflowers and wheat which, in Ukrainian tradition, voloshky (cornflowers) are a symbol of holiness, purity, courtesy, hospitality, and goodness while wheat is symbolic of both a good harvest and good health; The sunflower – essentially, the national flower of Ukraine and now a symbol of the Ukrainian resistance and is an emblem of optimism.
Dima Deinega, founder of Dima’s said: “This fundraiser is a cause that’s very close to my heart. We hope to raise money for the humanitarian needs of the people suffering in Ukraine, and highlight the incredible resilience and spirit of the Ukrainian people. It’s been inspiring to work with Kateryna, who is such a talented artist, and one who has been working so hard to raise awareness and funds for the country.”
