Gusbourne Estate launches Rosé 2021

English wine producer Gusbourne Estate is about to release its new still Rosé 2021 in time for the sunnier weather approaching.

Rosé 2021, made exclusively from grapes harvested from a single vineyard in Kent is being positioned as an ideal aperitif and a “fabulous complement for picnic and BBQ season”.

The still rosé, which is pale salmon in colour, is made from Pinot Noir (65%) and Pinot Meunier (35%) grapes, handpicked from the south-facing Cherry Garden vineyard at Gusbourne’s home in Appledore, Kent.

Gusbourne Estate chief winemaker Charlie Holland said: “There’s something about the days lengthening and temperatures warming up that turns our minds to a chilled glass of crisp rosé. It’s an ideal choice to offer guests on arrival for spring socialising or celebration, or to complement lighter seasonal dishes – we love it with crab, lobster or prawns with chilli and garlic, or a grilled goat’s cheese and apple salad.”

The Gusbourne Rosé 2021 will retail at £25 and will be available from the winery’s webshop with free delivery throughout the mainland UK.
