You can win free beer for a year if you get a mullet haircut

Have you always wondered what you would look like if you got a mullet haircut? Do you like free beer? Well then, this is the day of all days for you, my friend.

They said that all fashion comes back around at some point in time, and there’s no greater proponent for the theory that, no matter how seemingly terrible a trend is it’ll be back one day than the mullet.

So yes, for better or worse, richer or poorer, the mullet, which had its heyday (and let’s face it, it should have been its only day) back in the 80’s, is back. According to beer brand Natural Light, the mullet was the most-searched hairstyle in 2021, and so in a nod to past glory (?) and present fun (?) the beer brand is offering consumers the chance to: 1. get their haircut paid for if it happens to be a mullet, and 2: receive two free cases of Natural Light per month for as long as they keep the ‘do.

Sound tempting? Here’s the skinny.

Essentiall, you’ll need to get a mullet haircut, post the results to social media with the hashtags #NattyVintage and #sweepstakes to be in with a chance of winning a free haircut and two 24-packs of Natty Light in vintage cans. You’ll also need to be following Natural Light on your social media platform of choice.

“The mullet might be returning, but true Natty Fans know it never really went out of style,” said Daniel Blake, group VP for Budweiser and value at Anheuser-Busch. “That’s why we want to make it easier than ever for fans to celebrate this iconic look. And though this hairdo has stood the test of time, these Natural Light Vintage Cans are limited edition so be sure to grab them before they’re gone!”

Only you can decide if getting a mullet is worth the free beer.
