PLD Paris launches new branding and Paris Packaging Week
PLD Paris, a leading event for packaging innovators in the premium drinks market, has launched a new graphic identity as well as a new brand, Paris Packaging Week, to underline its position as the key event in packaging innovation.
Launched in 2020, PLD Paris (Packaging of Luxury Drinks) unites the premium and luxury drinks packaging community, connecting buyers and designers for wine and spirits, premium beers, ciders and non-alcoholic drinks markets. It has now unveiled new branding which has been created by London-based independent design agency Butterfly Canon.
The 2022 edition of PLD Paris is being held on 29 & 30 June 2022 at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, as part of Paris Packaging Week. It will host a range of features designed to inspire the packaging community to create the best and most innovative packaging possible for their brands.
The show will be part of the new Paris Packaging Week that unites the organisers’ three events – ADF (Aerosol & Dispensing Forum), PCD (Packaging of Perfumes, Cosmetics & Design), and PLD – under one banner, helping it become an international leader in connecting and inspiring packaging innovation.
“Paris Packaging Week and its events ADF, PCD and PLD, are a strategic reference for professionals in the packaging sector,” Josh Brooks, event director of Paris Packaging Week said. “We are very excited that they will be back in Paris, face-to-face, for a unique summer event. It is a long-awaited opportunity to get together, to discuss, to develop business, to drive innovations and also to share.”
Paris Packaging Week will offer packaging designer, technologist, buyer and marketer a possible forum to discover more than 150 suppliers of labels, glass, paper, sleeves, 3D printing, caps, wood, along with the latest thinking on materials, design, smart packaging and technologies through more than 40 sessions in it Talks theatres from international brands.
