On 22 Feb., agave spirits expert Deano Moncrieffe and The Lost Explorer Mezcal hosted a Margarita Day celebration at Hacha Bar in Dalston, London. The evening centred around the Evolution of the Mezcal Margarita: Guests gathered to sip the exclusive curiously crystal-clear Mirror Margarita made with The Lost Explorer Espadín and its two wild expressions Tobalá and Salmiana as they learned about diversity across agave species. Guests were also invited to sip each of the three varietals neat to appreciate the pure flavors found in each Espadín, Tobalá, and Salmiana agaves.
A unique video masterclass, The Art of Collecting Rare Whisky, has been launched to help those who wish to embark on their own journey of building their own rare whisky collection.
The series is hosted by Tod Bradbury, Head of Rare and Collectable whiskies at Justerini & Brook, who takes consumers on a guided, video-led tasting of rare expressions from Mortlach, Talisker, Johnnie Walker and The Cally. You can find out more here.
