New Zealand Wine launches one-stop-shop Trade Hub
NZ wine week is here and to help you discover more about the incredible regions and producers across the nation, trade body NZ Wine has created a digital universe packed full of info.
New Zealand Wine Week is officially underway, and to celebrate, trade body NZ Wine has launched an impressive digital ‘Trade Hub’ on nzwine.com.
A comprehensive resource for the wine trade and anyone interested in New Zealand wine, the new trade hub features a wealth of educational materials on everything from the country’s different wine regions to how to get in touch with producers, as well as stunning image and video galleries and details of virtual events taking place throughout this week.
Not to be missed inside the hub is the detailed ‘Global New Zealand Wine Catalogue’, which tells you everything you need to know about which New Zealand wines are distributed where, and which wineries are currently seeking distribution.
Featuring more than 1000 New Zealand wines, catalogue users can tap into tasting notes and technical details for incredible producers – little and large. Alongside world famous wineries such as Brancott Estate and Villa Maria, there are countless lesser known, unique winemakers to discover.
Handy functions make life easier for members of the drinks trade. For example, within the wine catalogue, you can click on and save favourites, and contact producers directly, from the likes of Craggy Range in Hawke’s Bay and Elephant Hill in Te Awanga to Fiddler’s Green in Waipara.
Furthermore, all wineries found in the catalogue operate in accordance with one of NZ Wine’s recognised sustainability programmes.
Today, 96% of New Zealand’s vineyard area is certified by the Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand certification programme (SWNZ); an industry-wide initiative led by New Zealand Winegrowers.
A further 10% operate under other recognised certified organic programmes.
The New Zealand Wine Catalogue 2022 will be accessible all year, hosted via New Zealand Wine website.
