Largest beer spa in the world to open in Canada

The world’s biggest beer spa, based in Ontario, where you can drink cool beer while lounging in the pool, is set to open in the spring.

The Muskoka Beer Spa, part of Clear Lake Brewing Co, opening on April 7, 2022, which states on its website that it will be the biggest beer spa in the world, will feature an outdoor pool, two large hot tubs, dump buckets, a music stage, an ice rink and four saunas.

The property, which will also be licensed so that guests can grab a beer from the outdoor cocktail hut or attached brewery and drink it in lounge areas or hammocks around the pools, will be appealing to visitors who want to combine two of their greatest loves: Drinking beer and relaxing in the great outdoors.

While you cannot visit the day spa just yet, according to the owners at Mustoka Beer Spa, the brewery and cabin stays are already open for visitors who want to sample a cosy cabin prior to the official opening date. As a precursor to the full experience, they can still sip on craft beer, relax by an outdoor fire and warm up in a hot sauna to get a feel for the area and what it will offer once it is fully operational.

In each of the cabins, there is a draught beer tap, making sure guests have fresh beer always available throughout their stay, a range of free snacks, an additional wet bar as well as TV and Wi-Fi, queen-sized beds, and a living room and kitchen area.

In future, the beer spa is also going to play host live music events too and has been highlighted as the perfect setting for beer and music festivals from small gatherings to big events. It will also have mobile treatments, such as massages available for all, should activities on site become a bit much and some extra R&R is needed.

Once open, the beer spa day rate will cost approx CAD$40+ (£23+) for one day’s access, not including the price of any extra treatments.
