Crown Royal already has three canned cocktail expressions in its portfolio: Whisky & Cola, Washington Apple, and Peach Tea. The new Whisky Lemonade iteration provides drinkers with a refreshing Summer sip to enjoy as a cooling treat: perfect for block parties and BBQs, according to a press release.

“At Crown Royal we’re continuously ideating new blends and flavor profiles to meet the evolving tastes of our drinkers,” commented Nicky Heckles, Vice President at Crown Royal. “The new Whisky Lemonade flavor is the latest innovation that fuses a familiar summertime staple with the boldness of our whisky, providing a fresh take on ready-to-drink cocktails.”

Crown Royal Whisky Lemonade will come with a SRP of $14,99, and each can clocks in at 7% ABV.

The announcement comes as brands jockey for position in the increasingly crowded RTD market, with major soft beverage players like Coca-Cola and Pepsico entering the fray in recent times. You can read more about Coca-Cola’s partnership with Constellation Brands on a boozy Fresca expression here.
