The Licataa wine brand, which has been described as a “rich, bold sparkling red” by Raekwon, will join the black-owned Kentucky wine and spirits distributor’s growing portfolio, according to Leo Weekly, which highlighted the rapper emcee’s love for Italian culture and cuisine.

Cantine Ceci and its family-owned vineyard and winery in Parma, Italy, produce Licataa and its wines appeal to Raekwon’s palate.

Legacy Wine and Spirits, already known for distributing a selection of black-owned drinks brands was founded by best friends, Kelvin Young and Djuan Ditto in February 2020.

Licataa sparkling wine will join whiskey brand Guidance; Bourbon brand Majesty; a mango vodka, lime Tequila and black cherry Bourbon by Local Choice; and another music associated brand rapper E-40’s line of Earl Stevens wines and spirits.
