Woman reveals huge speakeasy bar hidden underneath her house behind kitchen cabinet
Many of us attempted to create a home bar during Covid, but one woman has revealed a truly astonishing underground speakeasy the same size as her house, and it’s hidden behind a kitchen cabinet…
File this under ‘coolest things you’ve ever seen in your life’, because TikTok user @theresapizzaaa has taken home bar setups to a completely different stratosphere.
Far from your run of the mill home pour keg and back bar, the TikToker revealed that she has an entire, huge, speakeasy bar hidden underneath her kitchen. In true Narnia fashion, it’s hidden behind a kitchen cupboard.
“When I’m bored and remember I have a speakeasy under my kitchen island,” the video is captioned. In the footage, she walks into her kitchen and casually opens a cupboard, revealing a hidden staircase that leads down to the speakeasy bar.

There’s an excellent stash of wine at the bottom of the staircase, and beyond that a private cinema room, old telephone box and the huge bar area. Oh, and there’s a live band playing in the bar for good measure.
@theresapizzaaa first posted the footage back in May, but recently re-shared the video as it was her ‘most viral’ of the year. The original video has racked over 35 million views, while the reposted version is already well over five and a half million views.
Separate videos give a tour of the speakeasy space.
“So can I get a invite? That looks so freakin cool,” one commenter wrote.
Yes, when can we visit? It is simply incredible.
