This week in the world of drinks: Gosnell’s, London’s only mead-maker, has taken over a Peckham railway arch for a Christmas pop up, Tullamore D.E.W. Irish Whiskey launches ‘Tully Snug’ nights aimed at those working in hospitality, and New president of the Crus Bourgeois du Médoc, Franck Bijon, visits London to showcase wines from the 2018 and 2019 vintages.
London’s only mead-maker, Gosnell’s, has taken over an archway in Peckham for a festive Christmas pollination popup, where its new 4% sparkling Wildflower Mead on will be served on draught, along with its four cans of Hopped, Sour, Hibiscus and Citra Sea meads at the same strength. To add to the Christmassy theme, Christmas trees will be on sale, as twinkling lights and music set the scene.
Tullamore D.E.W, launch the first ever Tully Snug session in the UK – aimed at providing a night of entertainment to those working in the hospitality industry.
Singer-songwriters, actors and poets will feature at the events, the first of which took place on 8 November.
