Massenez unveils Dom Pacello Royal Orange liqueur

Massenez Distillery has launched a new orange liqueur, named Dom Pacello Royal Orange, to a global audience.

The liqueur, which uses Camus Cognac as its base, is a 40%-ABV drink which is versatile enough to consume both in cocktails or neat and is “a completely new launch from Massenez” according to Grandes Distilleries Peureux which is known for producing high quality fruit eaux de vies and liqueurs suitable for gourmands.

“Dom Pacello involves the maceration and distillation of fresh orange and its zest with a hint of Cognac from Maison Camus” is “a brand new product and will be available across domestic and global markets,” said Grandes Distilleries Peureux director of marketing and communication Élodie Naslin.

“It can be consumed pure, over ice or in cocktails” and “it is available in 20cl and 70cl bottle sizes,” said Naslin, revealing that it can be mixed with vodka, gin, rum and even hot chocolate drinks in the winter.

“The history is really interesting because Dom Pacello was, himself, a man from Italy and yet he was also the one who invented the first orange-squeezing press, plus, there is Cognac from Camus in here too, so the origin of the liquor is both Italy and France,” explained Naslin.

Peureux, which is known for its Golden Eight Williams Pear Liqueur, has a long history of creating super premium alcoholic fruit drinks and selling them as, what Naslin calls “giftable novelties”.
