It’s a truth well known that bartenders have to deal with more than their fair share of unusual, difficult and irritating situations while they’re at work. Unfortunately, female bartenders are also forced to contend with inappropriate behaviour from their customers, as one video that has been uploaded to social media illustrates.

Kayla Elick, a 22-year-old bartender who goes by @chickfillkayyy on TikTok, took to the video sharing app to reveal the interaction on video, which was captioned simply “It was 10 am.”

Elick recorded herself speaking to the customer, who asked several times if he could see her feet.

After some back and forth, she can be heard saying I’m not pulling out my feet?!”

The video has racked up nearly four million views on TikTok, with many commenters expressing their dismay at the customer’s actions.

“The audacity guys have nowadays… I’m usually too shy to even ask for napkins if not given one at the bar lmaoo…” One commenter wrote, while a second added, “10am? Jesus, too early for that. I’m sorry you have to go through that.”

Though personally speaking, I’m not sure any time of the day is a good time to be asking a stranger to show you their feet.
