The week in pictures

Pasqua Vigneti e Cantine has presented an immersive art installation at Vinitaly Special Edition, the second Seven Cellars store has opened in Brighton station, selling premium wines, beer and spirits, and we head down to Gipsy Hill’s The Paxton for a night of live music.

Pasqua Vigneti e Cantine has presented an immersive art installation at Vinitaly Special Edition. Per Pasqua’s website:

“Pasqua Vini supports talent and the dreams it generates through patronage projects over the last 5 years that have involved artists from all over the world. Talented artists, different from each other, in terms of origin, culture and work areas, were asked to express their vision of the brand and its values in projects commissioned ad hoc by the Veronese winery. Talent and dreams have dominated years of collaboration, giving rise to a multicultural, interdisciplinary and multimedia narrative that the Veronese winery has communicated and promoted around the world through its projects and wines.”

Great news in Brighton where the second branch of Seven Cellars has opened on the concourse at Brighton station. Owner, Louise Oliver said “We have had a great 5 years being part of the community at Seven Dials in Brighton, and we are thrilled to be able to play our part in making commuting to and from Brighton and visiting for fun times or work a more pleasurable experience. The new Seven Cellars is the first and last place you can buy a drink in Brighton and we only sell premium products including lots of locally produced wines, beers and spirits”.

We visited The Paxton in Gipsy Hill last night for a celebration of the venue’s new Autumn cultural programme of events, which includes live music, rotating street food vendors, DJ sets and live comedy. You can view the venue’s upcoming table of events here.
