ProWine Hong Kong 2021 hailed a success
ProWine Hong Kong, one of the leading wine trade shows in the city, was successfully staged from 7–9 Sep 2021. The three-day event attracted over 21,000 visitors from the industry.
Debuted in 2019, ProWine Hong Kong returned as part of HOFEX food and hospitality trade show. This year, the show was conducted in a hybrid format by combining both onsite and online experience. The seamless online-to-offline experience includes online business matchmaking and physical trade show.
The show was kicked started with an opening ceremony. Mr. Paul Chan Mo-po, GBM, GBS, MH, JP financial secretary of the government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region officiated the ceremony along with other various supporting associations from the industry.
Apart from new products showcase, seminars and masterclasses were also held to help visitors in understanding more about the industry trends.
The fair’s business matchmaking platform remains open for visitors to log onto and will close on 23 September at 7pm HKT.
Damith Weerakoon, director of marketing and operations, Milestone Beverages HK, said: “With the current pandemic conditions preventing international attendees and exhibitors, tasting restrictions and reduced scale of the show, we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of visitors and organisation of ProWine at Hofex 2021.
“As main sponsor for the 2021 HK Professional Mixologist challenge, Milestone invested heavily into the show and partnered closely with the organisers.”
