Fiol launches new Rosé Prosecco
Fiol Prosecco has launched a new Fiol Rosé blend to its range stating that it fills the gap between luxury and affordability.
The new expression, created by winemaker Marzio Pol, joins Fiol Extra Dry and is pale coral in colour and has been made with 85% glera and 15% pinot noir grapes.
Winemaker and founding member and past president of the Society of Viticulture and Oenology Marzio Pol said: “During the winemaking process, our team uses the best raw materials with the right dosage of pinot noir in the assembly phase to ensure the perfect balance between acidity and sugars.”
Gian Luca Passi, co-founder of Fiol added: “Our brand was made to be recognisable and to be enjoyed with family and friends. It fills the gap between luxury and affordability. We aspired to produce an outstanding rosé unlike any other on the market, that would also be positioned as the go-to for everyday celebrations.”
Fiol, which takes its name from an ancient Venetian word for ‘son’ or ‘boy’ – a term that is used between friends in Treviso, Italy – will be available via Amazon retailing at £22.95 per 75cl bottle or £119.95 for a case of six.FIOL Rosé:
The new Fiol Rosé expression has a tasting note that has a nose of raspberry and wild strawberry and a on the palate showcases citrus lemon and white flowers. The wine recently won a gold award at this year’s db Prosecco Masters.
