Berry Bros. & Rudd launches personal fine wine cellar as Christmas gift
Wine and spirits merchant Berry Bros. & Rudd has launched the ultimate in Christmas luxury this year, with the release of its personal wine cellar gift, which includes a visit to the store to create your ideal fine wine collection.
The deluxe gift is available at three price points: £2,500, £5,000 and £10,000 – all of which include the trip to Berry Bros. & Rudd’s historic store in St James’ Street for an appointment with a fine wine specialist, who will help you build your collection.
“Over a glass of fine wine and amid three centuries of vinous history, the recipient will be able to discuss their cellar and which wines to include in their new collection,” a release states.
Jake Dean, Fine Wine Director at Berry Bros. & Rudd commented of the launch; “We’re thrilled to be launching the Gift of a Cellar this Christmas, the best way to begin your collecting journey and discover Berry Bros. & Rudd’s unrivalled expertise in fine wine collecting.”
The gift is described as suitable both for a fledgling wine collector and for those who already have a burgeoning collection of their own.
Meanwhile, discount retailer Aldi has announced the return of its wine and cheese advent calendars this year (presumably perfect to pair with one another), while Costco has also heralded the return of its much-vaunted wine advent calendar, which features 24 half-bottles from around the world.
