Whisky-infused burger launches in London
A whisky-infused burger is being launched in London as part of pop-up celebrations for Scotch brand Dewar’s.
The Chicken Whisky BBQ burger will be served alongside a Dewar’s Caribbean Smooth Highball cocktail as part of a ‘Burger & ‘Ball’ experience at Truffle London this weekend.
The unique pairing menu, which has been curated by Mark Low, lead creative at Mr Lyan Studio and Dewar’s creative consultant, will also include an option of a classic burger with a Dewar’s Ilegal Smooth Highball.
The pop-up is part of a series of events being held to introduce two new Dewar’s blends, Caribbean Smooth and Ilegal Smooth, to the distillery’s Cask Finish Series. The new blends will debut in UK bars this month.
Dewar’s 8-Year-Old Ilegal Smooth, finished in Mezcal casks, and Dewar’s 8-Year-Old Caribbean Smooth, aged in Caribbean rum casks, will also be available in cocktail bars across the country including: Milroy’s of Soho, Satan’s Whiskers, and Vinegar Yard in London and Scottish bars Kelvingrove Café and The Gate.
The pop-up Burger & ‘Ball experience, however, will only be available at Truffle London on 20 and 21 August. Prices start from £10 per pairing.
