American model and socialite Kendall Jenner’s 818 Tequila brand has proved an astronomical early success – selling out just four hours after its launch and attracting orders from 80 countries.

Kendall Jenner’s 818 Tequila has launched to resounding public demand and orders from across the globe, as America’s most famous family once again demonstrates its astonishing pulling power.
Jenner touted the launch of 818 Tequila back in May with a star-studded tour de force of LA royalty, with a party attended by her sisters, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian and Kylie Jenner and showbiz pals including Hailey Baldwin, Kate Hudson and Katy Perry.
Earlier this month, she continued her promo tour in Vegas with the Justin and Hailey Bieber and other famous faces.
The bold promotion, allure of the Kardashian behemoth brand and Tequila’s recent surge in popularity appears to have proved a heady blend for success for Jenner, after reports of huge early consumer demand emerged.
“Kendall became an overnight tequila mogul,” one insider told celebrity news outlet Page Six.
The same source said that Jenner’s Tequila could “could barely meet the consumer demand”, amid reports of store shortages within 24 hours of the release.
“Retailer and distributor chatter is this is the best spirits brand launch they’ve ever seen in this price range”.
The brand is believed to have sold out online a mere four hours after it was launched.
Kendall Jenner’s success can perhaps be partly down to the considerable support she has received for 818 among her celebrity friends, who have been promoting the Tequila’s launch on social media.
Jenner made the smart move of entering 818 anonymously into tasting competitions, where the Tequila has won numerous awards.
Despite accusations of cultural appropriation when 818 was first announced, it appears that the Kardashian/Jenner family has struck gold once again.
